My name is Jen Johnson

Hi, I’m a nature, wildlife, and landscape photographer with a passion for capturing the beauty of the world around us—especially in the quiet, often overlooked moments found off the beaten path. Whether it’s a sweeping vista, a hidden woodland trail, or a small detail that catches the light just right, I believe nature holds endless stories waiting to be discovered through the lens.

My journey with photography began at a young age. I was always eager to take photos, though limited by the cost of film and the rarity of using my mother’s cherished "good" camera. Even then, I found joy in composing images and preserving fleeting moments. Life eventually took me in a different direction, but after the birth of my son, I picked up my camera again—and instantly rekindled my love for photography. That renewed passion led me to pursue a B.A. in Digital Photography, which I proudly earned in 2019.

Today, my husband and I travel across the continental U.S., exploring and documenting the beauty we encounter along the way. Through my work, I aim to share the serenity, wonder, and inspiration that nature offers us all.
